"Everything you’ll see at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition represents what is happening in the art world right now. New and recent art created by everyone from emerging artists to the biggest names in contemporary art and architecture. Now in its 248th year, the Summer Exhibition continues in the tradition of showcasing a variety of work in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and film. This must-see exhibition is a unique window onto all areas of the contemporary art world.

“Unpredictable, stimulating and startling” is how sculptor Richard Wilson RA, this year’s co-ordinator, describes the 2016 art exhibition.

Keep a particular look out for work by some of the art world’s most successful artistic duos – specially invited by Richard Wilson RA – whose work is dispersed throughout. Highlights include a large-scale suspended kite sculpture by Heather and Ivan Morison, sculpture by brothers Jake and Dinos Chapman, and an atmospheric photographic installation from Jane and Louise Wilson."
